How the estimate works
- Pure alcohol (g) = volume (ml) × strength (%) ÷ 100 × 0.8 (Japan's Ministry of Health e-health net).
- The breakdown rate is taken as about 0.1 g per kg of body weight per hour (e-health net). Body water (Watson / Forrest formulas) and individual differences in the rate are reflected, so the result is shown as a range.
- The graph is an illustration of the alcohol wearing off, not a measurement.
- The daily amount follows the Ministry of Health's drinking guideline (2024).
If you feel unwell
- Don't push yourself; ask the people around you or a medical facility for help. If someone is confused or doesn't respond, call an ambulance (119 in Japan) without hesitation.
FAQ
The time doesn't match how I feel.
It varies a lot with your constitution and condition. The display is an estimate — look at the “late” time too.
What if I don't know the amount?
Choose “Not sure”. The estimate just becomes a little wider.
How do I delete logs?
Use Delete on each entry in the history, or “Delete all logs”.
