1. What we don’t collect
Your location and home address never leave your iPhone. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
2. Information used only on your iPhone
- Your home (and, optionally, your workplace): Stored only on the iPhone where you registered it.
- Location: Used to tell whether you are at home, at work, at a bar and so on, and to find the last train home from a nearby station. Only the visits, significant moves and region entries/exits that iOS reports, and one location fix at those moments, are used; only what is needed for that night is kept.
- Motion (steps and type of movement): Used on the iPhone to tell whether you have left and started walking.
3. Requests to Apple Maps
Station search and walking, train and driving times are requested from Apple Maps (MapKit). The coordinates of the start and destination are sent to Apple for this, and Apple handles them under Apple's privacy policy.
4. Information kept briefly on the notification server
To show the Live Activity and wake the app at the right time, the developer's notification server (Cloudflare Workers) briefly keeps a random per-install ID created by the app, the Apple push tokens, and the times, station name, train time, estimated taxi fare and text to show. It never includes your location, home address, name or email address. The data is deleted once sent, and all of it by 05:00 JST the next morning. It is not used for anything else or given to third parties. To prevent abuse and investigate faults, the server records only the number of sends and whether they succeeded (without identifying devices or people).
5. Deleting and stopping
Deleting the app erases everything on the iPhone. Turning off monitoring in the app's settings also cancels the reservation on the notification server. You can change the Location, Motion and Notification permissions at any time in the iPhone's Settings.
